Management Contractor for Wave Hub, Hayle, Cornwall 
 
The South West RDA is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified management contractor to undertake project management together with on and offshore engineering of the Wave Hub project, a novel subsea system which will provide the infrastructure necessary to support up to four arrays of wave energy converter devices (wec's) which generate electricity from wave energy. 
 
Wave Hub comprises a subsea power connection system located some 10 nautical miles off the north Cornish coast in approximately 50 metres of water connected via a subsea power cable to shore. An onshore substation will be situated adjacent to existing substation facilities at Hayle.

The deadline for the receipt of completed questionnaires and supporting documents is on 5 August 2008 at 12:00 hours. No questionnaires received after the deadline will be considered.
