Stakeholder survey 2008

At the end of 2008, we asked our stakeholders for their views on our organisation.
We provided a large list of our stakeholders to an independent research agency and they sampled a proportion of these to complete the survey. All results are kept anonymous (apart from us knowing the overall stakeholder group) so we are unaware of who was approached and who was not.

We take all of our stakeholders' feedback seriously and have worked hard to address the issues that were identified, as well as building upon the positive comments received.

The key findings from the survey were:

  • Major improvement in satisfaction with RDA relationships
  • Satisfaction with overall performance remained similar to previous surveys
  • Concerns about speed of delivery and decision-making
  • Evidence of lack of awareness of RDA at SME level and ability "to talk their language"
  • Improvement in ratings on communications (with the exception of business stakeholders)

Some of the activities listed in the action plan include initiatives:

  • To improve our awareness amongst business stakeholders
  • To review key processes with a view to increasing efficiency
  • To improve staff understanding of business process
  • To enhance our communications
