Leadership and advocacy

As we slowly come out of recession, it is inevitable that we face a long period of restricted public finance. We know how important our investments are to the future economy of the region, but we also need to make best use of our skills, expertise, intelligence and relationships so we can lead the region’s economy into recovery.

Key priorities for the Agency’s work will be:

  • Developing regional strategy and providing clear strategic direction.
  • Delivering an industrial strategy for the future.
  • Contributing our economic expertise and intelligence on the region.
  • Promoting the interests of the South West.
  • Enhancing our relationship with key partners.
