Our policies
As we work to address our priorities and to achieve the
objectives of our Corporate Plan, the South West RDA is actively
involved in policy analysis and development. For example, we
consider policy initiatives, consultations and legislation to
determine its impact at international, national, regional,
sub-regional and local level.
The current focus of our policy programme focuses on several key
areas, linked to our key priorities. They include:
New
Industry, New Jobs (NINJ); working with partners, in particular
local authorities, to provide expertise and enhance their ability
to implement legislative changes and Government initiatives; and
the Sub-National
Review (SNR) which also includes issues of regional
governance.
