In 2007, work is due to get underway on a major new office development at Beacon Technology Park in Bodmin.
The South West of England Regional Development Agency's investment of £866,000 will part-fund the £3.3 million conversion of the historic Carew House on the former St Lawrence's Hospital site into high quality office space.
Developers, Porthia, will convert the derelict Victorian building into nine office suites providing 2,322 sq meters of accommodation on three floors.
This development follows our previous investment of £2.94 million in the Beacon Technology Park which saw the transformation of the 17-acre site into a high-tech business park. This has generated five large development plots which are available for sale for the development of high quality office accommodation. Please refer to the Beacon Technology Park (Adobe Acrobat Reader Document - 494.57kb) brochure for further details.
