The closing date for feedback to the South West RDA about its plans for Tremough was December 3 2006. 
 
Plans for the £9 million business innovation centre next to the Tremough campus of the Combined Universities in Cornwall (CUC) have been revealed. 
 
The proposals, put forward by the South West RDA, show plans for the creation of workspace for 64 businesses. 
 
Housed in an iconic building, the Innovation Centre has been designed to make a statement about the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation, whilst also acting as a 'gateway' building to the CUC Tremough campus, near Penryn. 
 
The Innovation Centre will provide an environment which supports entrepreneurs and businesses in the early stages of development. By being so close to the CUC, businesses will be able to share expertise and facilities, particularly in media and design, environmental and earth technologies.
