RDA clarifies its position on potential funding for North Devon
College

The South West RDA has today clarified its position on potential
funding towards new higher education facilities within a wider new
campus development proposed by North Devon College.
It follows the announcement yesterday by the RDA (June 8) of its
capital investments across the region over the next two years.
Jane Henderson, Chief Executive of the South West RDA, said:
"The RDA wishes to clarify its position regarding its proposed £1m
investment in higher education facilities at North Devon College.
We accept we made a mistake yesterday by implying that decisions
had already been made about LSC capital funding for the college.
These funding decisions have not yet been made and we apologise for
suggesting they had.
"We will await the outcome of the LSC's decision before
confirming any future RDA funding. The LSC would be the main funder
of the proposed £100m plus campus re-development programme."
