Team Devon is bringing the excitement and opportunities of the next London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games to every village, town and city in our county. We are dedicated to ensuring Devon secures lasting benefits from the games through, focusing on sport, education, business, culture and tourism in our communities. We want to Devon's communities to join in by taking part in a cultural project, or volunteering to help out with existing events or organize something new. 
 
Team Devon is a partnership from across the county who are responding to the opportunities presented by the London 2012 Games. Partners include the Devon and Cornwall Business Council, Devon Destination Ltd., Western Morning News, Active Devon, Devon Community Foundation, Community Council of Devon, Primary Care Trust, a number of private sector companies, the Marines, Police and local authorities and the BBC. 
 
Team Devon's vision for Devon's Olympic legacy includes:

1. promoting healthy life styles;
2. engaging more young people in positive activities;
3. increasing volunteering;
4. stimulating a more enterprising and adventurous culture;
5. exploring the links between sport and culture.
