The London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games will offer some great opportunities for Team Gloucestershire. Every year Hartpury College plays host to some of the world's leading riders at their Three Day Event and Para Dressage Championships and in 2009, Gloucester hosted the LEN European Junior Synchronised Swimming Championships 
 
In terms of planning, the Legacy Action Plan has been adopted by the Gloucestershire Community Strategy Executive Board on behalf of the Gloucestershire Partnership. 
 
Priorities for Gloucestershire:

• Finding new talent to follow in the footsteps of Paralympics GB
• Promoting Hartpury College and Gloucestershire's other pre-Games Training Camp venues to international teams
