On 2 March 2007, the South West RDA submitted the following statements of evidence to the Examination in Public of the Regional Spatial Strategy (RSS).
This first batch of statements covers the majority of overarching policies such as climate change, levels of economic change, housing and the strategic approach to the South West's cities, towns and rural areas.
These statements are based on our formal response to draft RSS in August 2006 and reflect the content of the Regional Economic Strategy, including its evidence base, delivery framework and spatial annex. They sit in the context of a broader evidence base which includes further research commissioned by the South West RDA.
On 16 March 2007, the South West RDA submitted the second batch of statements of evidence to the Examination in Public of the Regional Spatial Strategy. These statements cover issues including transport, employment development, energy, waste and the strategic approach to individual settlements.
