There have been three Partners for England summits to date, all of which have been ground breaking fora that have addressed the key issues surrounding the tourism industry in England.
Partners for England is a collaborative exercise owned by all stakeholders with a shared sense of purpose; it is being taken forward jointly by VisitBritain for EMAB and by South West RDA on behalf of England's Regional Development Agencies.
The Partners for England stakeholders are those parties who have an interest in the prosperity of England's visitor economy.
Proposals to tackle the four key issues (Leadership, Intelligence, Local Authority Engagement and Marketing) were presented at the most recent Partners for England summit. Full details of these proposals and next steps under each of these headings can be found in the following document: Partners for England Proposals (Adobe Acrobat Reader Document - 4597.39kb).
The Partners for England initiative led by Juliet Williams, Chairman of the South West RDA and Hugh Taylor, Chairman of England Marketing Advisory Board.
