West of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF), funded by the RDA, is involved in formulating and implementing programmes to develop the region's aerospace industry. WEAF have 700 registered companies, including the major primes and SMEs, employee organisations, universities & colleges. WEAF is committed to developing the sector using International, National and Regional policy for the benefit of its members.

Engineers Employers Federation (EEF) Western is one of thirteen Associations throughout the UK. It has a membership of around 450 Manufacturing, Engineering and technology-based companies. It supports and, where appropriate, delivers programmes designed to address the skills issues of the 21st century global market place. Additionally, it is integral to the policy of skills improvements within the engineering sector and to Government policy pertaining to the development of these skills.
