Bournemouth University Innovation Centre (BUIC), is located in central Bournemouth and provides three levels of service dependent on a business' stage of development, supporting a range of business types.  
 
It has been in operation since 2001 and has helped support 12 businesses that have employed a total of 50 people.  
 
During this time the 3 year business survival rate of BUIC's clients has been 91.7%, compared to a UK average of 66.5%.
