The Pool Innovation Centre will provide high-quality office accommodation for incubating businesses, specifically the development of ICT services and products. 
 
Once occupied, it would accommodate around 250 high quality jobs and generate an estimated £11 million a year for the local economy. 
 
The £7.3 million project is being led by the South West of England Regional Development Agency and involves a group of other organisations including CPR Regeneration, the urban regeneration company for Camborne, Pool and Redruth; English Partnerships, the national regeneration agency and Cornwall Enterprise, the economic development service of Cornwall County Council.
