A Basque public university in Spain has developed a new biomaterial with response to the suspension medium conditions. It is useful as a drug carrier. They are looking for pharmaceutical companies interested in the development or application of these new drug carriers.

An Italian SME based in southern Italy has completely developed a powerful carrier-grade open-source-based wireless solution, currently available for 802.11b/g/a/h. The company is interested in license agreement, technical co-operation, joint venture agreement or commercial agreement with technical assistance with companies or research organisations for further development of the product, in order to adapt it to new market sectors.
New Method for production of Human Blood Platelets

A Spanish university has developed a new method for the production of Human Blood Platelets. This method allows the use of these platelets for different applications and purposes such as for analytical purposes, as standard in biological and biochemical essays of platelet functions, for testing of drugs related to platelet function and as source of platelet-derived productions. The institution is searching for companies interested in commercial applications of the method.
Laser Welding of wood to plastics

A German institute made investigations for applications in the field of welding of fibre-reinforced thermoplastic and wood composites with polymers. Weldability and weld behaviour of materials using different laser beam sources, new thermographic approaches for evaluation of materials qualification and investigations of different properties of plastic and wood components were made. Industry partners are sought for application of the technology or joint further application development.
Access to micro- and nanotechnology processing

A Swedish University Department offer free access to advanced processing for microwave electronics, photonics and nanotechnology. This offer is open for visiting researchers as well as remote users, both from universities and SMEs (small and medium size enterprises). Interested users can apply for access and the application will be scientifically evaluated of a selection panel.
