The second South West C+ Carbon Positive Awards launched on Monday 9 February recognising and celebrating the businesses, organisations and community groups from across the region taking positive carbon action in their battle against climate change. 
 
If you're passionate about the environment and believe your approach can inspire others, these are the awards for you. The eleven categories give large, small and micro businesses the opportunity to be recognised for taking a low carbon approach as well as celebrating the communities, partnerships and public organisations that have reduced their carbon footprint.

The South West C+ Carbon Positive Awards have been developed by the South West RDA and are supported by Business in the Community and Sustainability South West.  
 
First launched in 2008, and with almost 100 entries in their first year, the awards encourage responsible business practices ultimately increasing the positive impact businesses, organisations and communities are having on society and the environment.
