Creating Excellence is the South West centre of excellence for sustainable communities. It is one of nine centres which has been established across England, and is dedicated to improving skills and knowledge of all people working for sustainable communities in the region.
Achieving sustainable communities requires a wide range of skills and knowledge, from interpersonal and communication skills to an understanding of the modern methods for construction. It also involves a massive range of people and occupations, from police officers to planners, those who are paid for the work they do and volunteers who give their time and effort entirely for the good of their communities.
Creating Excellence has been established as a source of learning and good practice for anybody working in the field of regeneration, neighbourhood renewal or sustainable communities.
