Since it was set up in 1999, the South West RDA has supported projects to improve the skills of the region's employers and employees.
Working in partnership with a range of public and private sector organisations across the South West, initiatives have been set up to provide flexible and convenient training with the long term aim of improving economic growth.
Any industry is only ever as good as its workforce. We have enthusiastically risen to the challenge of developing the skills needed for the continued growth of the sectors highlighted in the Regional Economic Strategy.
We work with partners to make sure that the region's workforce has the right skills to create the most original and vibrant businesses, leading to an improved economy and a better quality of life for everyone.
