Partners for England

The Partners for England Forum is a partnership focused on the prosperity of England's visitor economy.

The forum places a strong emphasis on engagement and communication at national, regional, sub-regional and local level and seeks opportunities to benefit from economies of scale.

The forum:

  • helps the industry develop and deliver strategies for a successful and sustainable tourism industry in England - working in support of VisitEngland
  • Shares information and provides evidence and case studies - sharing best practice among its members
  • Reviews issues which affect tourism in England, and helps set priorities based on the consensus views of members.

The forum has identified key priorities:

  • Leadership
  • Intelligence
  • Marketing and
  • Engagement at all levels through a Place Making Charter.

The South West RDA, in conjunction with VisitBritain, was responsible for the formation of Partners for England and still plays a leading role.  It is represented on the Steering Group which provides leadership and direction to the forum.

Further information on the forum, membership, and the key work streams highlighted above can be accessed through the Partners for England website, alternatively please contact Lyndsey Swift: lyndsey.swift@visitengland.org.
