South West "Challenger Businesses"

As South West businesses recover from the recession, new ideas and innovative thinking are critical to future success.

Our region has always been home to free-thinkers and “challengers” who have looked at things differently to create and develop businesses that break the mould.

That’s why, with our colleagues at Business Link, we are running a campaign featuring 100 South West Challenger Businesses to inspire and spark new ideas.

Each day for 100 days, we’ll be featuring a South West business and showing how they are succeeding through their passion for looking beyond the obvious and challenging the accepted norms. The featured organisations will share their top tips for success and demonstrate how they are “thinking” their way to success.

Our business support service, Business Link, are also there to help businesses grow and innovate and can help with a huge range of issues, from setting up a company to protecting your intellectual property.

To find out more and get involved in the campaign, please visit our campaign web site. Here you can request daily e-alerts about the Challengers, as well as view videos and articles from the daily archives.

Also look out for stories about Challenger Businesses in regional media and on the BBC from February to May 2010.
