Innovation for business

Innovation is commonly defined as 'the successful exploitation of new ideas'. In today’s global economy, the ability to innovate can determine the success of a business - a region, or even a country.

At the South West RDA we are committed to embedding a culture of innovation within the region. Innovation is one of our priority themes, and we have developed key initiatives to help businesses overcome the barriers to innovation. These include providing funding for research and development, helping companies to access knowledge and skills, and providing facilities for new, innovative business ventures.
